Nextherapy cares deeply about your privacy. Therefore we only process data that we need to offer (and improve) our services and we handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services very cautiously. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided by Nextherapy. We may amend or update this privacy policy without prior notice. With the publication of a new version the validity of all previous versions expires.

This Privacy Policy describes which personal data we collect, what this data is used for and with whom and under which conditions this data can possibly be shared with third parties. We also explain to you how we store your data and how we protect your data against misuse and which rights you have with regard to the personal data you provide us.

Personal data we process

Personal data we process about you includes

  • your name and contact details (for example name, address, phone num­ber or email address), and other basic information;
  • your health data (for example medical histories, diagnoses, therapy suggestions and findings);
  • financial information, for example payment-related information;
  • any other information relating to you which you may provide to us.

Sparkpost

We send our transactional emails via Sparkpost. Sparkpost will never use your name and e-mail address for its own purposes. Sparkpost reserves the right to use your data for the further improvement of the services and to share information with third parties in this context in which case they take the necessary steps to protect your information.

Purpose of data processing

General purpose of the processing

We only use your data for the benefit of our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the services we agreed to provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share information with us and we use this information to contact you at a later date – other than at your request – we will explicitly ask your permission. Your information will not be shared with third parties, other than outlined in this Privacy Policy and to comply with legal, accounting and other administrative obligations, including tax, criminal or other legal proceedings and investigations. These third parties are generally subject to a duty to keep your data confidential.

Automatically collected data

Data that is automatically collected by our website is processed with the aim of further improving our services. This information (e.g. your IP address, web browser and operating system) is not personal data.

Retaining personal data

We keep your information as long as you are our client. This means that we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services.  We will keep your data for as long as we have a legitimate interest in keeping personal data, for example to enforce or defend claims or for archiving purposes and IT security. We also retain your personal data as long as it is subject to a legal retention obligation. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile or to documents that we have produced in connection with your assignment.

Transfer of personal data

We may transfer your personal data to recipients abroad, including in countries that do not provide the same level of protection as Swiss law. We will usually do so on the basis that such a transfer is necessary for the performance of our services.

Your rights

You have the right at any time to request information about the personal data we have stored about you. You may also at any time contact the responsible body to request the rectification, export, partial or complete erasure as well as blocking of individual items of personal data, provided this does not conflict with any legal obligations of safekeeping or retention. Under certain circumstances, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a relevant data protection supervisory authority.

You may also make use of your right to object to data processing at any time and without giving a reason. You may withdraw your consent at any time and without giving a reason. If you object and/or withdraw your consent, we will immediately stop the data processing, subject to any processing of your personal data to the extent required or permitted by law. We may no longer be able to continue providing our services thereafter.

Google Analytics

Through our website, American company Google places cookies as part of the “Analytics” service. We use this service to track and get reports on how visitors use the website. This processor may be obliged to provide access to these data on the basis of applicable laws and regulations. We have not allowed Google to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services.

Changes to the privacy policy

We reserve the right to change our privacy policy at any time. On this page you will always find the most recent version. If the new privacy policy affects the way in which we process already collected data relating to you, we will notify you by e-mail.
