The Team
Specialists who live and breathe neurorehabilitation
Every member of the Nextherapy team is a specialist in neurological rehabilitation, not a generalist physiotherapist who occasionally treats neurological patients. That focus is what makes our outcomes different.

Nilofar Niazi
Founder, CEO
Founder · Zürich
Nilofar Niazi
Founder, CEO
Nilofar's work is shaped by both personal experience and years of building in neurorehabilitation. As a mother, she was closely involved in her son Nataniel's journey growing up with cerebral palsy, working directly with therapists, doctors, and rehabilitation technologies across different systems and countries. That experience gave her a personal understanding of what makes therapy effective.
She founded TRAINM Neuro Rehab Clinics in Belgium in 2016, and later Nextherapy in Switzerland in 2021. In parallel, she is building FLXX.AI, an AI platform for rehabilitation, acting as the system of intelligence across assessments, decisions, and patient recovery outcomes. Everything she builds still comes back to the same place it started: creating the kind of care she would want for Nataniel.
Nilofar lives in Zurich with Nataniel, while her daughters are based in Austin, Texas. She enjoys travel, swimming in lake Zurich, and time with her close friends and children.
